Glenn Schweighardt is an exercise physiologist with 30years Cardiac Rehabilitation experience. Glenn consults and advises for cardiac rehabilitation at Ningbo Hospital #2 in Ningbo, China and with Shanghai DeltaWest Clinic in Shanghai, China. He is an experienced and creative clinician, having managed multiple hospital-based cardiac rehabilitation and wellness programs including integrative medicine at many San Diego County locations as well as now in China for the last 4 years.
Glenn received his master’s degree in physical education with exercise science emphasis from San Diego State University and is a Certified Clinical Exercise Physiologist from the American College of Sports Medicine (ACSM). He also has received an advanced certification in Exercise is Medicine, Level 3, from ACSM. In the period of 2013-2015, he worked in a Chinese hospital as CR program director. He presented Cardiac Rehab in many important conferences and prompted cardiac rehab concept in China. He witnessed millions of Chinese cardiovascular patients did not have access to professional CR services, therefore, he has committed to bring the latest cardiac rehab technique to China since then.
During his free time, he participants in professional rowing competition.
