This workshop will have limited availability so please register now to reserve your space. This is a unique experience which will allow the attendees to tour acute, subacute units and community rehab facilities in Northern California. Attendees will receive leadership skills as well as direction on novel management approaches from speakers from the top rehab institutions in the U.S. and China. This experience will be valuable to administrators, clinicians and other team members with the interest of advancing rehab medicine in China.

Community Rehabilitation Service Models in US, What Can We Learn From the Past and Looking Forward to the Future
As the population in China ages, there is an urgent demand for community rehabilitation in China. The existing infrastructure and current approach to rehabilitation medicine is not sufficient to handle the anticipated growth.
As requested by the rehab community, ACAPMR is pleased to offer a work shop for rehabilitation administrators and clinical specialists. The emphasis will be on developing a practice management model as well enhancing clinical knowledge for the rehab specialist. Substantial training to address the role of team building and management is essential to improve the infrastructure.
ACAPMR has invited experts from the three major rehab centers in China and the U.S. The speakers will discuss the major barriers encountered when developing a community rehab program. We invite rehab specialists and senior management personnel to participate in this interactive workshop.
